Why could the Shepherd boy sit on the Judgement seat of Vikramaditya and not the king ?

Ans. The heart of the king was not as pure as that of the cowboy. The life of the king was unjust and so he was not worthy of sitting on that seat-of Vikramaditya.

राजा, ग्वाला बालक की तरह पवित्र हृदय वाला नहीं था तथा उसका पूरा जीवन अन्याय व छल-कपट से भरा हुआ था इसलिये वह विक्रमादित्य के न्याय सिंहासन पर नहीं बैठ पाया।
